As afew others have noticed, turning it off can troublesome at times, however if you give it 5 or 10 seconds it will usually shut off. It never seems to have issues with turning on.The range is plenty for me and seems to me it would be good for most people. I don't love the look of the switch. But it's doable. The part that goes in the light can be alittle large to get in, once you find the right spot it will fit right in.

Set this up on a Light fixture for Wall art where the power cord plug into the wall behind the Art, needed a way to turn off and on the light to show the art, attached this to cord and now have remote On and OFF, works great.

These are great in old construction bed rooms where the original lights switches are far from the bed or the door. Very easy to install and enjoy the easy of having a safe and reliable light switch next to your bed. It is even better when you want the ceiling light or another appliance from two different location without expensive wiring and electrician costs. My mom lives alone and is so happy with having a switch installed next to the bed and one next to the bedroom entrance for safety when getting up at night.
