Best solution to relocating a switch!

This product was easy to install (professional or basic electrical knowledge needed). I used this switch as a solution to relocating my bedroom’s wall switch interrupted by a new bookshelf we had installed in front of a short wall. The construction is firm and even lets you optionally slide the clicker unit off to have bedside.

Easy to install

The switch solved my problem of having to run ceiling fans when I need the light burning on my porch. Absolutely love it!

Life saver!!

Oh this little switch sure saved us. Redoing our kitchen and replaced old lighting. Removed a ceiling fan in center of kitchen over Island. Once we bought the new lights we realized there was no light switch to turn the light on/off. The ceiling fan worked with the chain switches. Found this remote light switch and it worked great. We have it laying in the edge of the counter but it can be attached to a y'all or under a cabinet. We kinda like it where it is. Great find on this! Saved a lot of headache trying to wire that light fixture to a wall socket.

Junk. Will fail in 90 to 120 days

The wall switch part of this is very cheap, and will be likely to fail after a short time.  Mine failed intermittently at first, so I thought for the first month or two that I was just hitting the switch not so well.  Interestingly, the wall switch seems to have no problem turning the light ON, but now fails to turn the light OFF.  I have to go the the breaker panel and turn of power to the entire part of the house where this is installed to get it to go off.I recommend spending a little more and getting something better.+++++ UPDATE +++++The seller of this, Dewenwils, has exhibited over-the-top customer care, and has offered to send me a free replacement (I presume the warranty is still in place) - thus the five-star rating.  (The product doesn't deserve it, but the seller does.)
